We build the "Emu XL"-series based on an extremely compact 19-inch rackmount chassis with an exceptional height of 1.5U and only 28.5cm length. The case offers direct front-side access for up to two hot-swappable 3.5 inch SATA/SAS harddisks plus internal installation options for a maximum of two 2.5 inch SSDs and one M.2 SSD. It is designed to run extremely silent and can be equipped with the most modern intel processors, ranging from intel Core i3 (Skylake) up to intel Core i7 (Skylake / Kaby Lake).
The server-systems of the "Emu XL"-series meet all expectations that are being set for modern mini-servers: they are compact, silent, robust and very powerful. They provide data-security (for example with a mirror-RAID) as well as maximum connectivity and work extremely fast - also due to the possibility of SSD or M.2 SSD system-drive integration.
The "Emu S3i XL" is extensively equipped: the system provides two gigabit LAN ports (1 x intel / 1 x Realtek chipset), wireless LAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with 2,4GHz/5GHz dual band) and a wide range of graphics connectors (HDMI, DVI-D, display-port, D-Sub VGA), three of which may be used simultaneously.
Two of the four SATA-600 connectors with intel RAID support can be perfectly combined with the two front-side 3.5" harddisk-trays. We recommend the installation of two mirrored data-disks in the harddisk trays. Additionally, up to two 2.5" SSD drives plus one M.2 SSD can be integrated as internal system-drives.
Cooling of the system is being provided by exceptionally silent running fans, which allow the system to be placed close to workspaces or even in a residential environment. All components of this system were designed for a very energy-efficient and economical operation - with the power-supply having an 80PLUS Gold energy-efficiency certification.
Built around a very compact Asus H170I-PRO mainboard, the base-configuration of the system is equipped with a modern intel Core i3-6100 dual-core processor (2 x 3,7GHz / "Sky Lake") as well as 8GB Kingston HyperX DDR4-RAM main-memory.
Optionally, we equip the system with a range of different processor-types and a maximum amount of 32GB RAM. It is also possible to equip the system with different harddisks, SSD's and a M.2 SSD within the configuration-tool.

After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. Included in the scope of supply are - apart from the server-system - the complete mainboard-accessories including the manual, a WIFI antenna, a blue power-cord (please contact us if you need a special cord) and several short-length SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices. The system will be shipped without operating-system.
