This extremely short 2U rack-mount server case with a length of only 38cm is ideal for use in short-length racks - like mobile flightcases or in narrow wall-mounted network-cabinets.
The IPC-G238 is the "fan-control"-version of our standard short-depth 2U chassis with additional integrated automatic fan-control, temperature-sensor and informative LC-Display. Up to four fans can be controlled directly by the fan-control, switching them on when reaching an adjustable target-temperature between 30°C and 60°C.
Its compact size makes this chassis a perfect base for a stage-system - for example as a mobile DJ-system or lightning-control system. Generally it is the perfect solution for all situations where a powerful server-system needs to be installed in a very limited and highly confined space.
The case supports mini ITX and micro ATX mainboards. The chassis can be equipped with standard ATX power-supplies if the power-supply has an 80mm fan for backward ventilation and a maximum depth of 14cm. It is not possible to equip this case using a standard ATX power-supply with big 120mm fan and sideward ventilation (as the fan would blow against the enclosure).

Objectif : Serveur 2HD + 1SSD en micro-atx Boitier robuste et facile à mettre en oeuvre. Visserie suffisante. Permet probablement de mettre 2 disques 35 en extractible sur les emplacements 51/4. La ventilation se fait oublier quand lenvironnement nest pas trop chaud. Livré très vite et Yakkaroo TRES REACTIF sur les problèmes (réponse UTILE toujours en quelques heures). Jen reprendrais.

Tolles Gehäuse! Tja, da hatte ich nun etwas voreilig ein Rack mit 45cm Tiefe gekauft und erst danach ist mir aufgefallen, passende Gehäuse für >= 4 3.5 Platten zu bekommen ist gar nicht so einfach. Zum Glück hab ich das hier gefunden, passt alles wunderbar. Im Fractal 304 (bestes Gehäuse mit anderer Bauform) war auch bereits ein Micro ITX-Board und ATX-Netzteil verbaut, konnte ich alles übernehmen. Lüftersteuerung mit Display ist ein netter Bonus, aber Vorsicht: der Blickwinkel ist sehr klein. Schaut man nicht direkt frontal drauf, sondern etwas schräg von oben kann man leicht glauben, dass es nicht richtig funktioniert. Frontlüfter habe ich gegen leisere ausgetauscht, Lüfterkabel noch gekürzt, jetzt ist es noch etwas schöner. Alles in allem, top, kann es empfehlen!
