This extremely short 2U rack-mount server case with a length of only 38cm is ideal for use in short-length racks - like mobile flightcases or in narrow wall-mounted network-cabinets.

Its compact size makes it a perfect base for a stage-system - for example as a mobile DJ-system or lightning-control system. Generally it is the perfect solution for all situations where a powerful server-system needs to be installed in a very limited and highly confined space.

The case supports micro ATX and mini ITX mainboards. It can be equipped with standard ATX power-supplies if the power-supply has an 80mm fan for backward ventilation and a maximum depth of 14cm. It is not possible to equip this case using a standard ATX power-supply with big 120mm fan and sideward ventilation (as the fan would blow against the enclosure).

Good product
Convenient format and easy arrangement to place the motheboard (micro ATX), HDDs and additional cards (low profile).
Strong case, however some screws are fragile and difficult to loosen.
Good product: it is my third purchase of this type of equipment.

Preis-/Leitung perfekt
Dieses Gehäuse kommt in einem Medienserver zum Einsatz. Da bei mobilen Einsätzen Gewicht und Größe immer von Bedeutung sind, viel die Wahl auf dieses Gehäuse. Die Verarbeitung ist gut, vor allem die leicht versenkten Knöpfe sind perfekt, damit man den Rechner nicht aus versehen runterfährt. Die Lüfter sind für diese Preisklasse auch sehr gut, nur wie man den Luftfilter wechselt ist mir noch nicht ganz klar. Insgesamt eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Solides 2HE Gehäuse mit sehr kurzer Bauform
Wir haben dieses Gehäuse wegen der kurzen Bauform und geringen Höhe ausgewählt. Die 3HE-Variante haben wir auch bereits vielfach überall dort im Einsatz, wo nur kleine Wandschränke für Verkabelungen angebracht sind.
Die Bestückung des Gehäuses ist sehr leicht möglich, alles ist gut zugänglich und wenn man die Komponenten strukturiert einbaut (Board zuerst, dann Laufwerke und vor allem das Netzteil zuletzt), kommt man auch mit dem geringen Platz gut klar.
Einzig die werksseitig nur als USB 2.0 verfügbare Front ist nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß. Wenn der Bedarf nach USB 3.0 da ist, kann zwar gegen Aufpreis eine USB 3.0 Variante zum Selbsteinbau (nur zwei Schauben) mitbestellt werden, aber schöner wäre eine Direktauswahl der USB 3.0 Variante im Shop, denn die USB 2.0 Komponenten entsorgt man am aktuellen Beispiel ungenutzt und das dürfte und sollte dem Umweltgedanken irgendwie aufstoßen.
Was übrigens (durchaus positiv) anders als abgebildet geliefert wird ist der Gehäusedeckel. In der Abbildung ist der Deckel komplett geschlossen, in der Lieferung allerdings über dem Netzteil gelocht (Lüftung). Wir fanden dies top, denn Industrienetzteile (24/7), welche nur nach hinten lüften, werden echt langsam rar und somit unangemessen teuer. Durch die Lochung konnte ein gewöhnliches Netzteil verwendet werden.
Die mitgelieferten Lüfter tun sicher ihren Dienst, aber sind schon etwas laut. Wir tauschen diese immer (also auch schon bei den 3HE-Gehäusen) gegen leisere, drehzahlgesteuerte Komponenten aus, aber ist schon eher Geschmackssache.

Alles in allem ein ordentliches Gehäuse ohne echte Schwächen zu einem fairen Preis!
