The "Dingo A2" is a short 19-inch 2U system with an intel Atom CPU. The installed D2500CC intel motherboard works with an intel Atom D2500 dual-core processor with 2 x 1.86 GHz, provides onboard dual LAN and is equipped with 4GB DDR3 Kingston RAM. The compact and solid 2U case has extensive expansion options and comes complete with a DVD burner drive.

More space and anyway a very compact design

The available space in the 'Dingo A2' is considerably more extensive than in our 1U Mini Server systems. So a SATA DVD burner is already installed in the case. Furthermore a 3.5" hard disk can be easily connected to the free SATA port. Different optional adapter, The system can also be extended via different adapters with a RAID controller or a total of 4 x Gigabit LAN Ports.

Manufactured with high quality and combined with an "80PLUS Bronze" certified 400W Seasonic ATX Power Supply, this 2U rack-mounted systemis a very robust platform for a wide field of applications - even under demanding conditions.In this system is a smart fan control integrated which activates automatically above a certain threshold.The system therefore usually runs almost silently. On the front-panel you can find the usual controls, LEDs and two USB 2.0 ports.

With a TDP of only 10W the intel D2500 dual-core Atom processor is one of the most economical and most effective processors that exist on the market. The "intel NM10 Express" chipset of intel motherboards D2500CC need only 2W, so that the total TDP for the CPU (graphics included) and chipset is enormously low 12W.

Scope of supply

After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. Included in the scope of supply are the complete mainboard-accessories including the manual, a power-cord and a set of small accessory parts.

We deliver this system in the described basic version without operating system .Matching accessories for the 19inch range is available in our shop.

Please note the reduced compatibility of the intel Atom chipsets regarding 64bit Windows operating-systems. Up to now, intel does not provide appropriate graphics-drivers for these operating-systems. However, installation of 32bit Windows operating-systems is not a problem.
