Our "Emu S7i-C252" is a professional micro server for 19 inch rack mounting. With just 1U height and a depth of only 25cm it is the smallest rack-mountable system with socketed processor and XEON support in our product-portfolio. It can either be equipped with standard processors of the intel Rocket-Lake generation (intel Core i5 / i7) or with server processors of the intel Rocket-Lake generation (intel XEON E-2300 series). The remote management module of type Asus ASMB10-iKVM with IPMI 2.0 support is included as standard.
The "Emu S7i-C252" is an ultra-compact and professional mini-server: the system can be equipped with intel XEON-E processors as well as ECC memory modules in addition to ordinary desktop processors (intel Core i5/i7). It offers two Gigabit LAN ports (2 x intel i210AT) as well as a remote management port with IPMI 2.0 via standard ASMB10-iKVM management module. The integrated Aspeed AST2600 graphics card offers a D-Sub VGA connector. Four USB 3.2 ports (Gen1) and a serial port are also integrated on the rear. Furthermore, up to two 2.5" SSD drives as well as an NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD can be integrated as system drives in the chassis.
The system is cooled by three 40mm PWM high-performance fans with max 15k rpm and on the processor side by a special Dynatron radial fan, which dissipates the waste heat of the processor towards the back of the case. Please note that the system has a relatively high noise level and cannot necessarily be recommended for use directly at the workplace.
All components are designed for power-saving operation and the 500W power supply from FSP Fortron used has a high efficiency rating (80PLUS Gold), so the system is very energy efficient and therefore economical.
A compact Asus P12R-I mini ITX motherboard is used as the base of the system. In the basic configuration, the system comes with a modern intel Core i5-11400 six-core processor (6 x 2.6GHz / "Rocket Lake") as well as 8GB Kingston DDR4 RAM. Optionally, different processor types as well as a maximum memory expansion up to 64GB RAM (also with ECC) are possible. With the options listed below, various hard drives or SSD's can be configured into the system as well. If you are interested in a configuration of this system that is not listed in the configuration-tool, please contact us directly. We will prepare an individual offer for your desired system layout then.
After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. In addition to the server system, the scope of supply includes the complete mainboard accessories including a printed manual, one blue 2.0m Cat6a network-cable, a blue power cable, a set of small parts and several short-length SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices. The system will be shipped without operating-system.
