The "Emu A8R FL PRO" is a professional, fanless 1U IPC system with a redundant power supply and is designed especially for 24/7 operation. It is based on an intel quad-core Celeron processor (intel Celeron J1900 with 4 x 1.6GHz) and combines an extremely energy-saving design with good performance and versatile applications in a very compact 1U chassis with only 40cm length. Good compatibility with various Linux distributions makes this device especially suitable for use with Linux - although Windows operating systems can of course be easily installed, too.
We designed this system with safe, long-term and energy-efficient operation in mind - rather than pure computing power. For power supply we chose a redundant and fanless 70W special power supply, which provides enough power to supply a SuperMicro X10SBA-L motherboard with passively cooled Quad-Core intel Celeron J1900 processor as well as up to two SSDs. In standby, the system consumes (with two SSDs) exactly 10W of power. It is also designed as a fanless system without moving parts and therefore operates absolutely inaudible.
The chassis is extremely compact with a length of 40cm and a height of 1U. To our knowledge, it is one of the shortest 1U IPC systems with a redundant power supply on the market. In its basic version, the system is equipped with an intel Celeron J1900 quad-core processor as well as 4GB Kingston DDR3L-1600 memory (max. 8GB DDR3L). The mainboard offers two gigabit LAN connectors (with intel I210-chipset), an onboard graphics card with HDMI, Displayport and D-Sub connectors, two internal SATA connectors (2 x SATA-300) as well as four internal serial ports (COM ports). A PCIe x2 slot (mechanically implemented as a PCI-E x8 slot) can be used to extend the system via an optional riser card.

After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. Included in the scope of supply are - apart from the server-system - the complete mainboard-accessories, a blue power-cord and several short-length SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices. The system will be shipped without operating-system.
