We build the "Emu XL"-series based on an extremely compact 19-inch rackmount chassis with an exceptional height of 1.5U and only 28.5cm length. The chassis offers direct front-side access for up to two hot-swappable 3.5 inch harddisks (or two 2.5 inch SSDs) plus internal installation options for a maximum of two 2.5 inch SSDs and one NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD. It can be equipped either with standard-processors based on the intel Rocket-Lake micro-architecture (intel Core i5/i7) or with server-processors of the intel Rocket-Lake generation (intel XEON-E 2300 series).
The server-systems of the "Emu XL"-series meet all expectations that are being set for modern mini-servers: they are compact, versatile, robust and very powerful. They provide data-security (for example with a mirror-RAID) as well as maximum connectivity and work extremely fast - also due to the possibility of SATA SSD or NVMe SSD system-drive integration.
The "Emu S7i-C252 XL PRO" is a professional mini-server: besides the most modern desktop-processors (intel Core i5/i7), the system can also be equipped with intel XEON-E processors and ECC memory-modules. It provides two gigabit LAN ports (2 x intel) plus a dedicated remote-management port with IPMI 2.0 via the pre-installed onboard ASMB10-iKVM management module. The integrated Aspeed AST2600 graphics card features one D-Sub VGA port. Additionally, four USB 3.2 ports (Gen1) are integrated in the rear of the system - as well as one serial COM port.
A total of six SATA-600 connectors with intel RSTe RAID support can be perfectly combined with the two front-side 2.5"/3.5" harddisk-trays. We recommend the installation of two mirrored harddisks or SSDs in the harddisk-trays. Additionally, up to two 2.5" SSD drives plus one NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD can be integrated as internal system-drives.
Cooling of the system is being provided by Silverstone PWM fans with up to 3.600rpm for most use-cases. For individual configurations we can also install silent-fans or high-power fans depending on the configuration. All components of this system were designed for a very energy-efficient and economical operation - with the power-supply having an 80PLUS Gold energy-efficiency certification.
Built around a very compact Asus P12R-I mainboard, the base-configuration of the system is equipped with a modern intel Core i5-11400 six-core processor (6 x 2,6GHz / "Rocket Lake") as well as 8GB Kingston DDR4-RAM main-memory.
Optionally, we equip the system with a range of different processor-types like intel Core i5/i7 / intel XEON-E and a maximum amount of 64GB main-memory. It is also possible to equip the system with different harddisks and SSD's within the configuration-tool.

After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. Included in the scope of supply are - apart from the server-system - the complete mainboard-accessories, a blue power-cord (please contact us if you need a special cord), a blue 2.0m Cat6 patch-cable and several short-length SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices. The system will be shipped without operating-system.
