Due to the ongoing component crisis - especially regarding DDR5 RAM - and significantly increased prices for 12th to 14th generation Intel processors, we decided at the beginning of 2026 to offer this cost-oriented series of 19-inch systems. We manufacture these based on slightly older AMD Ryzen processors with socket AM4 and DDR4 memory support. These devices are still ideally suited for many basic all-round applications in the IPC sector or as simple 19-inch workstations. However, we cannot guarantee long-term availability for these systems. Furthermore, the devices are not based on the high-quality industrial motherboards from Kontron that we normally use, but on business motherboards from Asus. This means that they fall outside our general strategy of relying more heavily on European-manufactured components. However, since our Kontron-based systems with support for Intel LGA1700 and DDR5 memory are particularly affected by the extreme price increases, we were motivated to create a cost-effective option for non-critical 19-inch systems that can cover a simple range of applications.
The system offered here is a very robust and cost-effective 19-inch 2U all-round system with support for AMD Ryzen 5000/4000/3000 processors – equipped with AMD B550 chipset, DDR4 RAM and optimized for 24/7 operation. Extremely compact in a short 19-inch server case with 2U and a depth of only 38cm. Built with high-quality brand components from Asus, AMD and Kingston.
The system offers all modern standards such as USB 3.2 Gen.1 interfaces, 4 x SATA-600 ports with AMD RAID 0/1/10 option and two M.2 2280 ports (NVMe/M-Key) for use with up to two NVMe SSD (PCIe 3.0 x4). The NVMe SSDs can also be operated in RAID mode using AMD RAIDXpert2 technology. Furthermore, there is one Displayport (DP 1.4 / 4K@60HZ) and one HDMI port (1 x HDMI 2.1 / 4K@60HZ), which can be used in parallel. The 1Gbit network port is based on a Realtek RTL8111H chipset.
The basic configuration of the system includes an AMD Ryzen 3400G and 8GB DDR4-3200 Kingston Value RAM. Various processor types and a maximum memory expansion of up to 64GB RAM are available as options. The options listed below also allow various hard drives, NVMe and SATA SSDs as well as backplanes to be configured into the system.
After system-assembly, the completed system receives an extensive and thorough system-test before being shipped. Included in the scope of supply are the complete mainboard-accessories, a blue power-cord (please contact us if you need a special cord), a small-parts kit and two SATA-cables for hassle-free cabling of your devices. Please note that the system does not include an operating system.

Please note the following:
- only low-profile PCI/PCI-E expansion-cards may be installed into this system.
- only up to two 3.5 inch harddisks may be installed in the 3.5 inch modules due to confined space. Further harddisks would interfere with the mainboard.
