The 4U-47045 is a compact and versatile 19-inch 4U server chassis with numerous expansion options, suitable for use in a 19-inch rack or — with an optional accessory kit — as a floor-standing tower. The chassis is designed to accommodate three 5.25“ drives, one slim DVD drive, four 3.5” drives, and two 2.5" drives. The number of drives can be expanded to up to six 5.25“ and two 2.5” drives, or eight 3.5“ and two 2.5” drives, by installing optional drive cages.
To ensure adequate airflow, the case can be equipped with two 80mm fans at the rear, one 80mm fan in the 3.5" hard drive cage, and one 120mm fan behind the front door. Adjustable graphics card brackets ensure secure mounting of graphics cards or other expansion cards. The optionally available TS-680 telescopic rails allow for convenient installation and removal within a server rack, as well as working inside the chassis without having to remove it from the rack. Furthermore, the chassis can also be used as a floor-standing unit with the optionally available “SF-47045” expansion kit, which adds feet and top-mounted carrying handles.
