This extremely short 3U rack-mount server case with a depth of only 38cm is ideal for use in short-depth racks - like mobile flightcases or in narrow wall-mounted network-cabinets. Its compact size makes it a perfect base for a stage-system - for example as a mobile DJ-system or lightning-control system. Generally it is the perfect solution for all situations where a powerful server-system needs to be installed in a very limited and highly confined space.
The case supports mini ITX, micro ATX and standard ATX mainboards. Please note, that when installing a standard ATX mainboard it becomes impossible to use the lowest of the external 5 1/4" drive-bays, so that there remain only two usable external bays. The chassis can be equipped with standard ATX power-supplies if the power-supply has an 80mm fan for backward ventilation and a maximum depth of 14cm. It is not possible to equip this case using a standard ATX power-supply with big 120mm fan and sideward ventilation (as the fan would blow against the enclosure).

Perfekt als Gehäuse für Renderserver mit RTX 3080Ti oder RTX 3090 Grafikkarten mit max 112mm Bauhöhe Wir benutzen die Gehäuse für unsere Renderserver. Leider ist USB 2.0 immer noch Standard bei dem Gehäuse und muss man USB 3.0 selbst einbauen, dass geht aber flott und unproblematisch. Es nimmt ein ATX Platine (wobei die Anschlüße am rechten Rand (von Hinten gesehen) verdeckt werden durch das Standard ATX Netzteil. Der 5,25 CD ROM / Festplattenhalter (wer braucht das noch?) lässt sich leider nicht entfernen. Die 3,5 Käfige lassen sich schnell und einfach entfernen. Das gute ist dass danach ein RTX3080ti oder RTX3090 Grafikkarte mit max. 112mm Bauhöhe sich gut einbauen lässt. Wir benutzen dazu noch 2x8 Pin adapter welche die Stromversorgung um 180 Grad (nach unten) umlenken. So vermeiden wir das wir ein 4U Gehäuse brauchen was im Datacenter 33% mehr kostet pro Monat als ein 3U Gehäuse.

Stabiel Gehäuse Stabiles und kurzes Gehäuse, das in den kleinen Schrank im Keller passt. Schön: entgegen der Fotos ist die Abdenkung über dem Netzteil mit Löchern versehen, es passt also doch ein ganz normales nach unten lüftendes ATX-Netzteil!

Man bekommt ein normales ATX-Mainboard und ein normales Netzteil rein - dann kann man allerdings wie in der Beschreibung erwähnt, die unterste 5 1/4-Schublade nicht mehr nutzen. Was ich allerdings im Jahr 2024 noch sehr frech finde, dass nur ein USB 2.0-Panel verbaut ist und man das 3.0-Panel für ca. 10 EUR mitbestellen muss. Die Montage ist allerdings kinderleicht. Ansonsten hat das Gehäuse einen guten Airflow, da eben nur 38cm kurz und in schwarz passt es eigl. in jedes Rack ( farblich gesehen ). Der eine Stern Abzug ist wegen dem frechen 2.0-Panel.

Bon boitier atx Jutilise les boitiers serveurs yakkaroo pour remplacer danciens boîtiers x86 industriels, principalement du 486. Tout est parfait au niveau de la taille et pour y placer danciennes alimentations. Et lesthétique est très bien. Je recommande sans problème. Rudy
